Color of Lincoln comments

Color of Lincoln has been a 5 year project conducted by Bryan Eaton who has used painstaking digital colorisation techniques to bring President Lincoln to life in color. He and his co-author Lee Rizio have brought these 120 beautiful pictures to fruition through a unique look at Lincoln in the publication “Color of Lincoln”.

Through President Lincoln, and the eyewitness accounts of those who were with him, this book captures a new insight into his personal life, his tumultous marriage, his views on religion, the unforgettable events at Gettysburg, the press surrounding him, and Lincoln’s use of photography to elevate him to prominence in the political arena. The hustle and bustle of his last tragic day is also re-visited….and his life immortalized in the significant role he played in US history.
